Hippocampus is a Belgium-based logistics company running warehousing, freight forwarding, and distribution across Europe.
The company operates its own warehouses and vehicle fleets across several European facilities, covering ocean, rail, and road, alongside customs clearance, bonded storage, final-mile delivery, and FBA preparation for sellers shipping into Amazon. Over 45,000 shipments delivered.
When the team approached us, Hippocampus was competing for European contracts against operators with longer track records and names buyers already knew. A company choosing a logistics partner is assessing risk, not service, and nothing about how Hippocampus presented itself answered that.
We took on the brand and the website. Instead of positioning on speed or scale, we built the site around the questions a buyer have.
- Which facilities do you operate?
- What happens at the border?
- How is bonded cargo handled?
Every service was rewritten as an operational answer with compliance first, and the industries section written to each sector's actual constraint, cold chain for pharmaceuticals, value and fragility for electronics, turnaround for fashion.
The final site carries no claim that cannot be verified, because in logistics trust is what matters the most, combined with an aesthetic of restraint that speaks to European buyers.
