Breethr is an air optimization company built on real air-quality science, focused on indoor air.
Since starting as Active Buildings in 2014, through a first prototype installed in a hospital IVF department and deployments across schools, gyms, and buildings, Breethr had spent over a decade proving the science worked.
When the team approached us, the company was expanding into a full product range, and moving from a pollution-response category into a performance brand for people who already invest in how they sleep, train, and recover.
The brand needed to carry the same authority as the health-performance names that audience already trusted. We became the design partner across the full system, brand, product, and web.
Instead of leading with the product, we built the narrative around the fact that everyone takes roughly 10,357 breaths a day, and almost none of them are optimized. That fact became the frame for a broader authority-building visual system, warm tones, sharp and rounded typography mixed, technical transparency through exploded 3D views and CAD diagrams, positioning Breethr as the category itself rather than one purifier among many.
That authority had to hold up in the product too. For the P1, the studio's first portable unit, we worked the CMF and form factor, mapping vents, LED panel, and airflow function together.
